Please ensure you have advised Race Control of your Transmitter Crystals….ideally you should have at least 3 sets.
Due to lack of time on club night’s, we do not have a practice session before the first round of heats. Race control may allow a short practice session in between heats and finals.
A transponder has to be be installed in each car (either the clubs or a personal one) before your race commences. The Transponder allows the the car to be to be detected as it passes over the loop and adds a lap to the corresponding driver.
If you are using a club handout transponder, these must be returned to the rack after your race has finished.
Before racing, check that you have the right crystal, and the right transponder as shown on the heat list.
Depending on driver numbers, we normaly have 3 rounds of heats and 1 final round. Heats will be of 5 minutes, and the final will run for 5 minutes. There will be a 1 1/2 minute gap between each race to get the next heat on the line and the timing computer is usually set to Automatic. If you have a problem with interference, please advise Race Control immediately, and the start will be delayed whilst it is sorted.
ALL RACERS must marshal after their heat has finished even if they didn’t race. If you are unable to marshall for medical reasons please advise Race Control and you will be substituted.
Click the image below for a video of the racing action.
Marshals should wear the fluorescent jackets provided so that they can be seen.
Please do not eat or drink whilst marshalling.
Do not sit down.
Do not use mobile phones or MP3 players.
Racers that fail to marshal will loose their FTD.
Cars will be Scruitineered after every race to insure you are running to the rules. This includes checking of Motors, Tyres, Weight and Batteries.
At the end of the night we ask everyone to stay behind and pack away. The more people that stop and help the sooner we can all go home. Racing will finish between 10:00 and 10:30pm, and the Hall must be cleared by 10.45pm
